The CHP said the silver Dodge Durango that hit a tractor-trailer rig had been reported stolen in Victorville.

The crash was in the area of Sanderson Avenue/Highway 79 south of Gilman Springs Road.

The truck went off the road and struck a temporary concrete barrier, according to the CHP.

The off-ramp on the 215 Freeway at Barton Road was closed for about two hours.

The driver, a Hemet man, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.

Corona police are asking the public’s help for details.

The collision happened at the intersection of Border Avenue and Via Pacifica.

The vehicle is described as a dark — possibly red — minivan and may have some damage to the front end.

Police will shut down Whitewood and Baxter Roads in Murrieta Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a continued investigation.
