Nearly two months after the death of Leonard Ortiz, Redlands police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver responsible for his death.

The driver, of El Monte, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the automobile involved in the collision had fled the scene of the crash. Police said the suspected involved vehicle was later found hidden in the backyard of a residence in Pomona.
