Two trains on the Riverside Metrolink line were canceled and one was delayed for 90 minutes due to a collision between a Union Pacific train and another vehicle.
Officials with Metrolink said the 406 and 408 trains were canceled, and the 410 train delayed Friday night due to the crash. Passengers of those trains were eligible for reimbursement of up to $50.
“Tracks are closed between Pomona Downtown and East Ontario. Delays are unknown,” Metrolink said on Twitter.
Metrolink said the 406 and 408 trains were halted at the Downtown Pomona station en route to the Downtown Riverside station, but the Riverside Transit Agency sent a bus to transport passengers from Pomona to Riverside.
RIV Line Update: RIV Line 406 and 408 to Riverside Downtown are cancelled at Pomona Downtown due to the UPRR incident. Please take 410. MTA bus, 31621 will make stops from Pomona to Riverside.

The 410 train to Downtown Riverside was held at Industry, according to Metrolink.
Metrolink said the 410 train left from the Industry station for Riverside at around 8:15 p.m., after a 90 minute delay.
The Ontario Police Department said it did not have any information on the crash between the Union Pacific train and unidentified vehicle.
