The Saturday afternoon collision injured at least two other people and closed the southbound lanes at Lake Street until about 3 a.m. Sunday.

The trucker made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist on Jurupa Avenue, police said.

Community activist Najee Ali called Thursday for the arrest of the woman who drove Eric Holder away from where he allegedly shot to death rapper Nipsey Hussle over the weekend.

Paramedics took the victim to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries. He was later stabilized, police said. 

‘We went from diesel to zero emissions. That is huge.’

Neither child was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, police said. However it does not appear to be a factor in the boy’s fatal injuries. 

As crews worked on the vehicle crash, a pedestrian was struck and injured nearby.

Multiple ambulances including an air ambulance were called to the scene.
