An SUV was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it slammed head-on into the big rig, causing the semi and its trailer to become fully engulfed in flames, the CHP said.

The pursuit of a driver in a black Mercedes-Benz started in Riverside County.

The 2017 head-on crash in Desert Hot Springs fatally injured Zhenkui Li, 64.

As the Infinity approached the top of the off-ramp, it appeared the vehicle made no attempt to slow down for the right-hand turn, according to the CHP.

The request comes as part of Bryant’s federal lawsuit against Los Angeles County and the sheriff’s department, which seeks damages, claiming negligence and invasion of privacy.

A blue Ford Mustang heading north traveled into southbound lanes and slammed into a silver Ford F-150 Saturday afternoon, police said.
