A woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a man was critically injured.

The victim was flying a Beechcraft 77 Skipper solo from Redlands Municipal Airport to Hemet-Ryan Airport.

It happened early Sunday morning

The collision happened on March 1 in Riverside. Javier Gonzalez, 15, of Colton, died. Rosendo Morales Caldera, 37, of Riverside, struck a plea bargain.

Their aircraft was based at Camp Pendleton and they were all part of the Purple Fox squadron.

The crash was reported about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, June 9, on the westbound 118, west of Zelzah Avenue near Porter Ranch.

“The force of the impact actually flipped our car over to its side,” Flansburgh said on Instagram. “While the driver and I oriented ourselves to our new sideways, broken glass and airbag-filled reality, we sensed the ominous smell of motor oil and smoke.”
