A Huntington Beach police officer sustained serious injuries Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle and another vehicle collided, according to published reports. The wreck happened at Bellflower Boulevard, just south of Atherton Street, at about 2:30 p.m. The officer was transported to a local hospital. The accident is under investigation.
