A crash between a tractor trailer and a Union Pacific train late Friday morning in Chino damaged an outbuilding and briefly shut down a road, according to the Chino Valley Fire Protection District.
The 11 a.m. incident prompted fire officials to shut down Sixth Street from Schaefer Avenue to G Street until about 12:30 p.m.
Chino Valley Fire is on scene of a traffic collision involving a single tractor truck and a Union Pacific Train on 6th Street in Chino. CVFD personnel are conducting shoring operations to stabilize the outbuilding. 6th Street is closed from Schaefer Avenue and G Street.
The collision pushed the truck into a nearby outbuilding said Massiel Ladron De Guevara, spokeswoman for the Chino Valley Fire Protection District in an email.

As of 1 p.m., the truck had been moved.
