The crashed happened Monday evening on Lasselle Street, near JFK Drive.

As 14-year-old Natalie Coe, the sole survivor of a deadly Lucerne Valley hit-and-run that killed three girls, works through her recovery, her family and community deal with the frustration regarding what they call the lack of updates from officials on the search for the suspects.

The performer, who was best known for roles in the films “Gone Girl” and “Cocktail,” was struck by a scooter that ran a red light.

Security guard Derrick Smith died in Saturday’s crash.

The rider, Derek Escarcega, 51, had been ejected from the motorcycle and was found unresponsive. At 4:58 p.m., Escarcega was pronounced dead, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

The crash was reported at 9:31 p.m. Sunday in the area of Fairplex Drive and Arroyo Avenue.

Durpree Battiest died from his May 23 injuries on Friday, May 28, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
