A tribute to Chino resident Dave Vopat will be added to the museum’s website and he’ll be honored with a flyover during the airshow.

David Vopat, 51, of Chino was the only person aboard the N9MB Northrop Flying Wing.

A driver suspected of plowing into a crowd of people in a busy Sunnyvale intersection Tuesday — injuring eight, including a 13-year-old girl — then stumbled out of his car mumbling “Jesus, I love you,” according to an eyewitness who watched the horrific crash unfold right in front of him.

The 33-year-old infielder left Monday’s game in the 12th inning after sliding head-first into D.J. LeMahieu’s knee. He was diagnosed with a stiff neck and managed to avoid the injured list.

The California Highway Patrol said no arrests had been made.

The woman was not wearing her seat belt and using her cell phone at the time of the crash; she died on her birthday.

There were no injuries to anyone on the ground, authorities said.

A man was killed Monday when the stolen car he was driving rolled over on the right shoulder of the 210 Freeway in Claremont, authorities said.

The crash was reported shortly after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard.
