Michael Jonathan Cuevas, 27, was in West Valley Superior Court in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday, March 27 when his attorney’s request for bail reduction from $1 million was denied.
The 28-year-old could face up to 57 years to life in prison if convicted of the charges related to the 210 Freeway crash that began with a carjacking in San Bernardino.
The male driver fled west on Arrow Route at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.
