Major League Baseball is looking into whether Houston’s Jake Marisnick should be suspended for his collision with Lucroy on Sunday. Two of the catchers at the All-Star Game thought it was an unfortunate accident.

The victim, a Lake Elsinore woman, was found early Friday near the intersection of Mission Trail and Sylvester Road.

It happened at 9:16 p.m. Thursday at Temescal Avenue and Sixth Street.

The woman was a passenger of the BMW, whose driver led authorities on a brief pursuit before crashing into another vehicle and a power line pole.

The driver was treated at a hospital and released.

The Chicago-based company said some of the money will go toward living expenses and to cover hardship suffered by the families of passengers killed in the crashes.

Another motorist who came along stole the good Samaritan’s vehicle.

Police said the fatal crash happened when a 23-year-old man’s vehicle rear-ended a utility truck stopped at a red light.
