The misdemeanor case was filed against Anurag Chandra in December and he’s expected to appear in court on those charges on Jan. 31.

The victims were remembered during a service Monday night at Northpoint Evangelical Free Church in Corona.

A total of 5 people were hospitalized in the crash near La Sierra Avenue.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m. on Highway 74 between Grand Avenue and the border of the Cleveland National Forest.

Angelica Huaste, 24, of San Jacinto, posted a $75,000 bail and was released later on Wednesday.

Killed were Eduardo Goncalves-Lins, 28, of Costa Mesa, and his passenger, Paula Queiroz-Lopes, 24, of Diamond Bar.

An 18-year-old was also transported to a local hospital and was reported to be stable.
