The crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. at Brown Avenue and Agua Mansa Road near the community of Belltown.

The car swerved between traffic lanes with speeds of 45 miles per hour and ran red lights while fleeing from deputies.

According to police, one driver, whose identity was not immediately released, suffered major injuries and perished at the scene, despite efforts by paramedics to save him.
