46-year-old Priscilla Ornelas Romero turned herself into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Dec. 8, after learning 63-year-old victim Jeffrey Hewitt had succumbed to his injuries, the Police Department reported.

Xavier Anthony Manrique, 19, of Colton was identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Friday in the 2400 Block of S. La Cadena Drive.

Angelica Jimenez suffered severe injuries and succumbed to them at the scene.

The DMV says it will start taking online renewal applications for driver licenses on Sunday, Dec. 6, at dmv.ca.gov.

The 34-year-old was driving southbound on Sierra Way approaching the intersection at 34th Street early Wednesday when he attempted to pass a stopped vehicle at a stop sign.

The suspect, a Downey resident, was assigned to take the victim’s body from a hospital in Riverside to a mortuary in Orange County in September, police said.

52-year-old Leonard Flores of Riverside was killed in the crash.

2 more children were also injured Friday, including 1 who remains hospitalized in serious condition.

The car was reported stolen, and there was a warrant out for the arrest of the driver.
