On July 18, 2023, at approximately 11:40 PM, patrol Officers responded to the intersection of King Road and Havana Drive to investigate a fatal collision involving a vehicle and three pedestrians. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:

On June 3, 2023, at approximately 11:58 PM, patrol Officers responded to the area of Monterey Road and Curtner Avenue to investigate a major injury hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:

A dark colored sedan, occupied by an unknown driver, was travelling northbound on Monterey Road when it struck an adult female bicyclist who was riding eastbound across Monterey Road outside of any marked crosswalk. The driver fled the scene in the suspect vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital where she later stabilized and transferred to a care facility. On July 8, 2023 the bicyclist succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
