On September 19, 2023, at approximately 12:48 PM, Officers responded to the area of Capitol Expressway and Monterey Road for a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult male that had been shot at least once. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Responding medics provided life saving aid, but the male was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
