California Car Accident Report’s Breaking News and alerts from Central California.
A person was killed early Sunday when a truck slammed into a tree in Bethel Island, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 2:10 a.m. when the truck, a Toyota, went off of Sugar Barge Road, west of Willow Road. The driver of the Toyota truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

On November 18, 2022, at approximately 7:30 AM, Officers responded to the 10000 block of Dougherty Avenue on a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect is unidentified and remains at large. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City’s 34th homicide of 2022.

On November 18, 2022, at approximately 11:30 PM, Officers responded to the area of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue to investigate a traffic collision involving a solo vehicle. The preliminary investigation revealed the following:
A 2021 Mercedes Sports Utility Vehicle, driven by an adult female, was traveling northbound on Santa Teresa Boulevard at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway. The SUV collided with a vacant building causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. The driver was declared deceased at the scene.
This is the 58th fatal collision, and the 60th traffic death of 2022.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.

On November 18, 2022, at approximately 2:28 PM, Officers responded to the 600 block of River Oaks Parkway on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers and Paramedics rendered life saving measures and the victim was transported to a local hospital. Shortly after arriving the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased.
The suspect is unidentified and remains at large. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City’s 35th homicide of 2022.

FRESNO, Calif. – A rollover crash left a Fresno man seriously injured early Saturday.
The wreck occurred at about 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Jensen and Elm avenues.
First responders found a seriously injured, unconscious man, whom they transported to a local hospital.
Police said he was driving eastbound on Jensen Avenue at a high rate speed when he lost control of his truck, causing it to roll over into a tree.
