The head-on wreck happened on I-10 northwest of Tucson.

A 29-year-old man died after he crashed his motorcycle into the center divider of the westbound 10 Freeway in San Dimas late Wednesday, causing him to be thrown off his bike and then struck by a vehicle, authorities said.

The wreck happened just before 2 p.m. on southbound I-15.

The Redlands Police Department said the 82-year-old Big Bear resident was stopped by traffic investigators and voluntarily gave a statement before he was arrested.

He had initially denied a murder charge, but has since pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol, said prosecutors.

She suffered major injuries after the SUV rolled over and came to rest on top of her leg.

Nearly two months after the death of Leonard Ortiz, Redlands police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver responsible for his death.

The driver, of El Monte, was pronounced dead at the scene.
