SAN BERNARDINO >> The evening commute was rough on the southbound 215 Freeway, just before Orange Show Road, after a three-vehicle crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer had traffic snarled for more than 3 hours.

“Nobody was injured in the collision,” California Highway Patrol spokesman Brian Alvarez said. “The cause of the crash is under investigation.”

The crash, firet reported at 3:01 p.m., spilled fuel and asphalt onto the freeway initially closing all southbound lanes, but officials later opened all but two lanes, according to the CHP.

By 6:40 p.m. all lanes had been reopened, according to Caltrans.
