DIAMOND BAR >> Coroner’s officials on Tuesday identified the driver killed in a weekend solo crash on the 57 Freeway.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, said 33-year-old Lincoln Holdzkom of Rancho Cucamonga died at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center at 6:03 a.m. Sunday. The autopsy has not been scheduled.
He was driving a 2013 Hyundai Sonata northbound on the 57 Freeway, just south of Golden Springs Drive, when the crash occurred at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
The California Highway Patrol said the car veered to the right for an unknown reason before it crossed over the No. 5 lane right shoulder and collided with a metal guardrail.
