CHINO >> A DUI checkpoint set up last weekend in Chino netted four arrests, the police department reported Tuesday.
Chino police set up a checkpoint between 8 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday in the 8400 block of Pine Avenue. During that time, 1,754 cars passed through, with officers looking for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and unlicensed drivers.
Officers:
• Arrested four people, three for DUI and one for a drug-related offense
• Wrote 12 citations for driving without a license or on a suspended license
