A Pomona woman was identified Monday as the victim of weekend rollover crash on the 71 Freeway in Chino Hills.
The victim was identified as Lucero Olmos-Sandoval, 22, of Pomona, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s website.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of the 71 Freeway near Grand Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Sunday on a report of a single vehicle crash, according to the Coroner’s website.
Witnesses reported seeing a white sport utility vehicle traveling north before driving over the divider, according to a CHP incident log. The SUV then rolled over into the southbound lanes.
Olmos-Sandoval was ejected from the Ford Expedition, said Sgt. Eric Lee. The CHP is still investigating the cause.

The coroner’s office reported that Olmos-Sandoval’s SUV rolled over multiple times, according to the coroner’s website.
Chino Valley Fire District personnel responded to the incident and pronounced Olmos-Sandoval dead at 9:51 p.m. while at the scene.
Olmos-Sandoval’s family has started a GoFundMe page to help raise money to cover funeral expenses.
