POMONA >> A bicyclist struck by a car in Pomona remained hospitalized Tuesday in critical condition.
The collision was reported at 7:53 p.m. Monday on Holt Avenue west of Hamilton Boulevard, said Pomona police Lt. Alex Rilloraza.
The bicyclist was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment, and was listed in critical but stable condition, according to a police statement issued late Tuesday morning.
The car’s driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, according to police, who said Holt Avenue was shut down until about 2:30 Tuesday morning.
