POMONA >> A man died late Tuesday night after crashing into a post on Philadelphia Street east of Reservoir Street, Pomona police said.
Just after 10 p.m., a vehicle was traveling east on Philadelphia Street through the intersection at Reservoir Street when it turned left across lanes of traffic and crashed into a yellow post, according to a police release.
The unidentified driver was rushed to a local hospital but died shortly after arrival.
The crash is being investigated by the Pomona Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
