CHINO >> A man and a woman were critically injured Friday night in a head-on collision, according to a fire official. Another woman sustained moderate injuries.
The collision between two vehicles happened at 6:31 p.m. on Pine Avenue between Hellman Avenue and Homecoming Drive in Chino, Chino Valley Fire District spokesperson Massiel Ladron De Guevara said.
The man was the only occupant of one of the vehicles and had to be extricated, she said. His age was not available. The two women, in their mid-20s, were in the other car.
The man and the moderately injured woman were brought to a hospital by ground ambulances, while the critically injured woman was flown by helicopter, De Guevara said.
