Major crash shuts down stretch of Carbon Canyon Road in Chino Hills

CHINO HILLS >> Carbon Canyon Road between Canon Lane and Canyon Hills Road is shutdown while police investigate a major injury crash, city officials announced Tuesday evening.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. city officials released the notice on their official website broadcasting the police activity to residents.

“The Road will be closed for an extended time due to the accident investigation,” officials said in a written statement. “Canon Lane residents must take access from Chino Hills.”

Residents of Canyon Hills Road can access their homes from Brea, the statement continued to say.

No more information was available at the time of this report and it’s unclear when officials will reopen the roadways.
