CHINO HILLS >> Classes at Chino Hills High School will resume Thursday a day after a crash near the campus knocked out power to the school, authorities said.

“Classes are in session today at Chino Hills High School. See you in class!” read a Chino Valley Unified School District Twitter post Thursday morning.

Nearly 3,000 students were released from Chino Hills High School early Wednesday morning after a car accident left campus without power.

Chino Hills staff remained on campus throughout the day to supervise students who could not be picked up immediately. The power outage also affected the school’s phone system.

Gobin said there were no games scheduled Wednesday, and any other activities on the campus were canceled.

Details surrounding the crash were not immediately available.
