POMONA >> A man was critically injured Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash in Pomona.
Police were called out to the scene of the crash at 3820 W. Valley Blvd. about 8:25 p.m., said Pomona police Lt. Marcus Perez.
The driver, who was said to be driving recklessly based on witness statements, clipped the center median, which caused his vehicle to become airborne before rolling several times and coming to a stop.
Perez said the man, estimated to be about 45 years old, was taken from the scene in “extreme critical condition.”
The cause of the crash was under investigation and the 3800 block of West Valley Boulevard was closed for the investigation.
