A motorist died in Rancho Cucamonga on Friday evening after a vehicle rolled down an embankment off the westbound 210 Freeway and hit a light pole, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m. on the westbound Archibald Avenue off-ramp, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
One person was killed, the CHP confirmed Saturday, but officials were not able to release details on the identify of the person killed.
Details of how the crash happened were not immediately available.
