Brian Anthony Brouwer, 47, of Rancho Cucamonga died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 7:50 p.m. Friday near Rosemead Boulevard, the coroner’s office reported.
Brouwer was riding a 2014 Honda CBR 650F “at a speed greater than 45 miles per hour, with no unusual roadway conditions,” when he lost control of the motorcycle, according to a California Highway Patrol statement.
Anyone with information on the crash was urged to call the CHP’s Altadena Area office at (626) 296-8100.
