A 60-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with lacerations on her face after a car barreled through her Redlands home late Tuesday night, police said.
“I ran into the kitchen and I couldn’t see the kitchen,” said Lee Hernandez who shares the home with his older sister and their mother. “I ran around into the dining room … and same thing, couldn’t see it.”

Hernandez’s sister had cuts to her face and was taken to an area hospital, according to police. Hernandez’s mother was not hurt.
The driver, 27-year-old Jason Robert Sheridan, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, said Carl Baker, spokesman for the Redlands Police Department. A female passenger in the car was also hurt in the crash and taken to an area hospital, according to Baker.
Hernandez said the car destroyed the kitchen and dining room. “There’s nothing left, not even the ‘Lazy Susan.’”
At about 11 p.m., Sheridan was driving his 2015 Dodge Challenger west on Brockton Avenue when he lost control, crashed through a fence and into the house, Baker said. The house’s address is in the 1000 block of Clay Street.
Hernandez said he and his family are always in the kitchen and was glad his sister wasn’t more seriously injured.

The home was red-tagged due to the extensive damage caused by the crash.
Sheridan was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
