Vince Vaughn doesn’t enter plea stemming from DUI arrest in Manhattan Beach

Last Updated on September 10, 2018 by CCAR Staff

An attorney representing Vince Vaughn did not enter a plea on his behalf in court Monday, Sept. 10, and his arraignment was continued to October, officials said.

Vaughn is facing three misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or higher and resisting a peace officer, stemming from a June 10 incident where he was stopped at a checkpoint in Manhattan Beach and refused to get out of his car.

Because Vaughn is facing misdemeanor charges, he does not have to be present in court and an attorney can enter the plea on his behalf, according to Paul Eakins, spokesman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. The next hearing is Oct. 19.
