A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night, Sept. 10, in a collision with a vehicle in Moreno Valley and the vehicle’s driver was arrested.
The crash happened about 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Old Valley Drive and Graham Street, said Deputy Michael Vasquez, a spokesman for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver stopped as required by law, Vasquez said.
Officials said Wednesday that the man suspected of hitting the pedestrian was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was identified as Roben Noujaim, 34, of Moreno Valley.
The pedestrian, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene, Vasquez said. His name was not immediately made public.
