Pedestrian killed in Pomona collision identified as 65-year-old Pasadena man

A pedestrian struck and killed by a car on a Pomona street early Monday has been identified as Edward Albano, 65, of Pasadena.

He was hit about 12:20 a.m. on Temple Boulevard near the 57 Freeway onramp, according to the coroner’s office and the Pomona Police Department.

The driver cooperated in the investigation, police said.
