Reporting Deputy: Sergeant Ed Baeza On December 11, 2020, at 5:32 PM, deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station began a missing persons investigation that was reported in the 3000 block of Crooked Branch Way in San Jacinto. The missing person was identified as Diana Perez Gonzalez, a 27-year-old female resident of San Jacinto. The investigation was initially turned over to the San Jacinto Station’s Investigations Bureau, but when investigators suspected foul play, the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation.Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit continued the investigation for nearly two years, and on October 7, 2022, arrested Angel Martine McIntire, a 28-year-old resident of Beaumont, for suspicion of murder. McIntire was arrested in the 500 block of Palm Avenue in Beaumont and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
