A motorcyclist died Saturday morning, April 3, after colliding with a passenger van in an unincorporated area of Riverside County near Lakeview, authorities said.
The collision occurred just past 8:05 a.m. in the area of Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
It wasn’t known how many people were in the van at the time of the crash, but firefighters reported no other injuries.
Further details about the motorcyclist and what caused the crash were not immediately available.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the cause of the crash.
