Two people were found shot, one fatally, as Pomona police investigated a three-car collision on Friday, July 16.
The crash was reported a few minutes after 11 p.m. at Garey Avenue and Arrow Highway, a Police Department news release said. Officers found a man and a woman inside one of the cars who were suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was treated at a hospital and released. The other two drivers declined medical treatment.
Police said they did not have a description of the shooter.
