A 4-month-old girl from Salinas died in a rollover crash on the 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass, the California Highway Patrol said.
Ehlani Barraza died in the Sunday afternoon crash near Oak Hill Road south of Hesperia, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office reported.
The crash happened around 12:55 p.m. when the driver of a Honda Accord veered to the right and collided with the left side of a Kenworth semi-truck, the California Highway Patrol said.
The Honda, which the baby was a passenger in along with four other occupants, then overturned, the CHP said.
The remaining passengers were taken to the hospital with moderate to major injuries, the CHP said.
