One Killed on SR110 South at W 6th Street in Central LA

A crash on State Route 110 southbound near West 6th Street in central Los Angeles left one person dead Wednesday morning.

According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the fatality was reported at 10:33 a.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrived on scene and conducted a traffic break at 10:35 a.m.

CHP requested Caltrans to start a road closure at 10:54 a.m.

Multiple CHP units were assigned starting at 10:36 a.m., with some arriving on scene by 10:50 a.m.

The CHP recorded the crash at GPS coordinates: 34.052483 -118.259318

Identities of those involved and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
