On Friday, July 21, 2023, at approximately 6:11 p.m. officers from Tenderloin Station were flagged down by a citizen to report a shooting that just occurred at Golden Gate Ave. and Hyde St. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene for life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of emergency responders, the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail arrived on scene and are leading this open and active investigation.
