SFPD Investigates Tenderloin District Homicide 23-068

On June 13, 2023, at approximately 1:38 a.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to Tenderloin Station responded to the unit block of Turk Street on a report of a shooting. 

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers began rendering aid including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and summoned medics to the scene. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite life-saving efforts by officers, paramedics, and hospital staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.   

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department Homicide Detail are leading this investigation.
