Roger Carroll, 59, was killed while riding his bicycle along a rural road in Sutter County.
The hit-and-run driver who struck and killed Sutter fled the scene, but his 2007 GMY Yukon was tracked down by law enforcement officials. He faces several felony charges in the crash that killed Sutter.
A worker discovered Sutter’s body in the middle of Bear Run Drive. He called 911, summoning paramedics to the scene. An ambulance rushed Sutter to the hospital where he died.
