One person was killed and 11 others were injured — three are in critical condition — when a bus rolled over on the 15 Freeway in the San Bernardino desert on Tuesday at about 11:32 p.m.
CCAR News was the first to report about the tragedy. We’ve now learned 11 people were injured in the crash.
The bus was loaded with 20 people, when it rolled, ejecting several of those passengers on the freeway near Mineral Spring in the northwest portion of the Mojave National Preserve. The stretch of 15 is frequented by tour buses carrying passengers between Las Vegas and the Los Angeles area.
Helicopters and ambulances responded to race victims to the hospital. CHP has not released further information regarding the cause of the crash or condition of passengers. Check back with CCAR for more information.
