Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:
Officers investigate fatal traffic collision: On August 14, 2022 at approximately 7:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 7th Street and Daisy Avenue regarding an injury traffic collision. Upon arrival, officers located a single vehicle traffic collision involving a fence. Officers contacted the single male occupant of the vehicle and provided medical aid until the Long Beach Fire Department arrived on scene. LBFD transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Collision Investigation Detectives arrived on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
