On Thursday, July 14, 2022, shortly after 2:00 am, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to Sunnymead Park, located at 12655 Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley, to investigate the report of a possible dead body. When deputies arrived, they located a deceased male, with injuries consistent with a homicide. Investigators are actively trying to determine the circumstances of the investigation. The victim’s identity will not be released at this time pending notification to next of kin. This is an active investigation and no arrests have been made.
