A motorcyclist was in critical condition after a collision in Menifee on Sunday, Feb. 6, that police said was caused by an intoxicated driver.
The collision happened about 10:24 p.m. on Highway 74 at Trumble Road when, Menifee police said, a Toyota pickup driven by Nathan Stipp, 31, was headed east when it made a left turn in front of the westbound Harley-Davidson, resulting in the collision.
The rider was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center, where he was in critical condition, police said.
Stipp was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in French Valley.
