An officer was injured after colliding with an intoxicated driver in Pomona late Friday, police said.
The collision occurred just before midnight in the area of Mission Boulevard and Parcels Street. Both vehicles struck a nearby building after the collision, according to a news release.
The extent of the officer’s injury was not disclosed. Police did not say how fast the cars were going, and details on what led to the crash were unclear on Saturday.
The other driver was determined to be driving under the influence and taken into custody, police said..
