Saturnino Garcia, who works for Penske Logistics in Ontario, was recently inducted into the Penske Logistics Driver Wall of Fame.
In a ceremony at the company’s global headquarters in Reading, Pa., Garcia was honored for his 20 consecutive years of safe driving without any preventable injuries or accidents.
This is an accomplishment that fewer than 1% of Penske’s drivers achieve, according to a news release.
The company employs more than 11,000 drivers across its North America operations.
The Wall of Fame is a component of the Penske Premier Driver Recognition Program for its professional truck drivers in the United States and Canada. The program has four levels to honor consecutive years of safe driving: Diamond, 20 years; Platinum, 15 years; Gold, 10 years; and Silver, five years.
