JURUPA VALLEY — Authorities Sunday were investigating a solo-vehicle crash that killed one person in Jurupa Valley.
Deputies responded to the crash at 8:43 p.m. Saturday on Van Buren Boulevard south of Jurupa Road, near the Glen Avon neighborhood, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
First responders found a vehicle crashed into a ditch and pronounced the driver dead at the scene, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reported.
“It remains unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision,” Sgt. Javier Morando said.
The identity of the driver was not disclosed pending notification of the family.
